Before and After School Care
Hi! I am Carolee Turner. Owner and Primary Educator at Active Minds Childcare. We are thrilled to be able to offer care to the children at Alex Munro School for the 2024-2025 school year. We are committed to providing an enriching environment for children, that goes beyond the classroom. With over ten years of experience working with children and families, we believe that high quality, affordable and developmentally appropriate programs, should be available to all children and their families.
Our program is designed to meet the individual child’s basic developmental needs: social, physical, emotional, intellectual, creative and self-concept while responding to the needs of families and the school community.

Hours
AM hours
- 7 AM until morning school bell (8:50 AM)
PM hours
- Dismissal school bell (3:29 PM) until 6 PM
Cost
- Full time - AM and PM = $550/month
- Part time - AM or PM only = $350, Drop in rate: $50 Daily
Full day Child Care is available on all PD Days, over Spring Break, Teachers’ Convention and limited days over Winter Break.
