Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope that everyone had a great summer. I’m sure that you and your child(ren) are excitedly anticipating the start of the new school year. All the staff at Alex Munro are very excited to see our students next week as well as welcoming any students new to our school!

Starting next week, the teachers and support staff will be spending the first half of the week planning and preparing for the year ahead.

On Tuesday, Aug 27, around 3pm or shortly after, you will receive an introductory email from your child’s teacher. The email will outline opening day procedures and where to meet your child’s teacher on the first day of school, Thursday, August 29.  If you do not receive an email on Tuesday evening, please contact the school (403-777-6600).

You can refer to our Back to School website page for additional information regarding the start up. Our main office will be open at 8am starting on Monday, Aug 26^th and Ms. Best will be happy to answer any questions or support any new registrations starting on Monday.

New this school year, Alex Munro will have an onsite before and after school childcare program with morning drop off beginning at 7am and afternoon pick up any time before 6pm. Active Minds Childcare Inc. will be the provider of this program. More information about this new program can be found on our website by following this link.
