The grade 2 classes are excited to be inviting their parents and other members of the community to join them for a celebration of learning assembly on April 26 at 12:30pm. Spring Time = Field Trip Season!
We have many upcoming field trips planned and love having parent volunteers join us. These experiences are richer for students with more volunteers as it gives the students the opportunity to participate in the learning in smaller groups. If you want to volunteer and have not completed your police clearance, please contact the office at 403-777-6600 and Linda will help you through the process. Community Parent Education Program
Please see this attached brochure outlining a FREE 8-week community parent education program (CPEP), hosted at Children’s Village School, starting with an information night on April 17th at 6pm. The Hull Community Parent Education Program has partnered with the CBE for over 20 years, providing 7-8 weeks of evidence-based skill review for parents or caregivers and their children. It’s an opportunity for parents to connect with one another, build community and learn from trained Hull staff who will facilitate and guide the conversation. Safety and Traffic Reminders
Thank-you for your care and attention to the safety of all of our students and staff in and around the school each day. Please use the designated crosswalks when crossing with students – crossing between cars or around busses reduces visibility and increases risk for injury. We have had few calls about jaywalking in front of the school. A reminder that there is no parent drop off or pick up of students in the staff parking lot. Families must use street parking around the school. Please note the no stopping zone in front of the school. Please do not stop here. This area is for safe pedestrian traffic and bus parking. We will have a school bus and two daycare busses that need to safely load and unload students in this space. Upcoming Dates:
