Thank you to everyone who has been donating bottles to support our school. So far, just over $1000 worth of bottles has been donated, getting closer to our goal of $1750 this year. Please continue to support our school by dropping your refundable bottles at the front of the school (by the free little library) every Friday. Free Parenting Course Coupled with a Children’s Social Skills Course
This course focuses on teaching effective parenting skills, coupled with a children’s social skills group. The children’s group will focus on social skills such as how to listen, how to accept no/disappointment, how to express their feelings and how to deal with being angry/frustrated. The topics in the parent group are:
*Relationship Building and Positive Behaviour
*Reducing Conflict and Managing Transitions Successfully
*Special Incentives and Collaborative Planning
*Effective Consequences and Problem-Solving Strategies The course will take place Children's Village School, in the NE community of Renfrew.
