The December AMPA meeting will be held online next Monday, December 8 at 6:15pm. All parents are welcome to attend. The meeting link will be sent out Monday prior to the meeting. Lockdown Drill Today
All CBE schools are required to practice two lockdown drills every school year. The Calgary Police Service assisted us with our first lockdown drill of the year this morning at around 9:30am. The procedure included gathering at identified areas within the classrooms with staff and students remaining quiet and calm until the lockdown was over. Teachers prepared students for today's drill, and everything ran smoothly. If your child is anxious following today’s drill, please listen to their concerns and then reassure them that we practice lockdown drills to ensure everyone is safe in case of an emergency; just like practicing fire drills. Winter Concerts – December 11 and 18 – 6:30pm start both evenings
We will be hosting two Winter Concerts again this year, one on December 11 featuring our Grade 1-3 students and the other one on December 18 featuring our Grade 4-6 and Kindergarten students. Both concerts will begin at 6:30pm. Doors will open at 6:15pm and the performances will begin at 6:30pm sharp.

Bottle Drive Fridays
Just like last year you can donate your refundable bottles to AMPA by dropping them off at the front of the school (by the free little library) every Friday. Our goal this year is to raise $2000 through our bottle drive Fridays. Upcoming Important Dates:
