The snowfall on Monday brought a winter wonderland to our school yard. The students had lots of fun building forts and other snow sculptures. Thank you for ensuring your children were outfitted for outdoor winter play. The arrival of snow also brings slippery conditions. Please be careful walking on the sidewalks and compound areas around the school. Also, please drive slowly and cautiously around the school, especially during pick up and drop of time. Thank you for doing your part to ensure we are all safe. We look forward to seeing all of our families tomorrow for Parent Teacher Conferences. Please bring your child(ren) with you as it is important our students are involved in these conversations about progress and next steps.

Scholastic Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair has arrived! Each class has had the opportunity to browse books this week. The book fair will be open for families tomorrow, Friday, November 28 from 9:15am-3pm and families are welcome to browse and/or purchase books during parent-teacher conferences. Happy Reading!

Parent Teacher Conferences – Friday, Nov 27 8am-4pm
Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Friday, November 28 from 8am – 4pm. These conferences will be 15 minutes in length, at a scheduled time, for you to meet with your child’s teacher. Please bring your child with you as they will be involved as advocates of their own learning. If you haven’t already booked a time slot, please login to your MyCBE account to book a time slot. Please book your meeting time with your child’s teacher as connections between home and school are very important for a child’s success in school. If you need any assistance with booking, please call the school office at 403-777-6600 and Linda or Stacy will be happy to assist.

Would you like an interpreter for your Parent Teacher Conference?
Please contact your child’s teacher if you would like an interpreter for your upcoming parent teacher conference and we will be happy to have an interpreter available for the interview. Just let us know which language you are most comfortable with, and we will be sure to have an interpreter available.

Fun Lunch – Tuesday, December 2 – Subway
