Family skate night last Thursday was a huge success. Thank you AMPA for funding such a great family activity.  Also thank you to DJ Chris for providing the lighting and music. And of course, thank you Mr. K and his team from Alien Inline for hosting the event. 

The grade 4/5 Aggie Days field trip yesterday was also a great success.  I’m sure parents of the grade 4/5 students heard all about it! Thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped with this fantastic field trip!

Soccer Club Message from Ms. Saadi 

Hello Alex Munro families, 

I’m excited to share that I have started a soccer club for students in Division 2! Students will be committing to two practices each week as they build their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship, all leading up to a special event — a Teacher/Parent vs. Student Soccer Match. 

This is where we would love your support! If you are interested in participating in the game, helping on the sidelines, or volunteering as a coach for the day, please fill out the attached Google Form. 

Event Date: Thursday, May 14, 2026  
Time: 1:30 – 3:30 PM 

All students, families, and community members are more than welcome to come watch and cheer on our players! More details will be shared as the date approaches.

Lost and Found  
We have many items in the lost and found. You are welcome to visit the school to see if there are items belonging to your child. Please come and browse through the lost and found before the end of April as we will be donating all remaining items to charity on May 1. We recommend labeling all clothing items, especially outer winter wear, to help us return items to their rightful owners. 

Bottle Drive Fridays 
Just like last year, you can donate your refundable bottles to AMPA by dropping them off at the front of the school (by the free little library) every Friday. Our goal this year is to raise $2000 through our bottle drive Fridays.
