Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope that everyone had a great summer. I’m sure that you and your child(ren) are excitedly anticipating the start to the new school year.  I know that I’m thrilled to be joining Alex Munro School as your new Principal and looking forward to the year ahead. Starting next week, the teachers and support staff will be spending the first half of the week planning and preparing for the year ahead.

On Tuesday, Aug 29, around 3pm or shortly after, you will receive an introductory email from your child’s teacher. The email will outline opening day procedures and where to meet your child’s teacher on the first day of school, August 31.  If you do not receive an email on Tuesday evening, please contact the school (403-777-6600).

Just a reminder that our school hours have changed this year and we will begin the day at 8:50am with student dismissal at 3:29pm.  The hours on Fridays are 8:50am – 1:15pm.  You can refer to our Back to School website page for additional information regarding the start up.
